Digital Agriculture Tournament is an innovative initiative of the Foundation for the Development of Polish Agriculture, created for secondary school students and implemented as part of the European Agricultural Forum. The Tournament has an open and educational character – it is addressed to all upper-secondary school students interested in modern agriculture, technology, and the future of the agricultural sector. The main objective of the Tournament is to promote knowledge about Agriculture 4.0 and to inspire young people to explore modern technologies used in the agricultural industry. The thematic scope of the third edition of the Tournament also includes an additional module devoted to microbiology in agriculture and the use of microbiological preparations. The organizers aim to ensure that the future workforce of the agricultural sector is not only prepared for contemporary challenges but also actively engaged in addressing them, contributing to the further development and innovation of Polish agriculture. The belief that a competitive and modern agricultural economy begins with solid education forms the foundation of this initiative.
The 3rd edition of the Tournament, held as part of the European Agricultural Forum, has been granted the honorary patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Stefan Krajewski. The co-organizers of the Tournament are: CLAAS Polska Sp. z o.o. and AGROCOM Polska – Software and New Opportunities for Agriculture (Jerzy Koronczok). The prize for second place in the Tournament is funded by the technology company BIO-GEN Sp. z o.o.
