OHZ "GARZYN" Sp. z o.o. is part of a group of strategic companies owned by the Government, supervised by KOWR, and engaged in animal breeding in the Greater Poland and Podlasie regions. The company's mission is to conduct high-quality animal breeding to meet the needs of Polish agriculture. OHZ "GARZYN" manages an area of 3,804 hectares. The dairy cattle herd consists of over 4,100 animals, including 1,410 Polish Holstein-Friesian cows. We run an SPF breeding program for national maternal pig breeds, WBP (Polish Large White) and PBZ (Polish Landrace). The core herd consists of 300 sows. The Polish Merino sheep breeding program has been conducted in Garzyn since 1919. The core flock currently includes 150 MPS ewes. As part of our operations, we offer beef and pork livestock, piglets, food-grade and feed grains, corn, sugar beets, and rapeseed.
