The Faculty of Technology and Life Sciences, one of the 15 faculties of the University of Rzeszów, conducts scientific research and educates students primarily in the fields of agricultural sciences, as well as interdisciplinary areas. It has been located in the Zalesie campus for over 50 years, and has been part of the University of Rzeszów since 2001. The faculty is equipped with modern laboratories and teaching facilities. The disciplines of agriculture and horticulture, as well as food technology and nutrition, have been awarded a high B+ category in the university evaluation process. The research interests of the faculty staff include, among others, the optimisation of field crop production, the development of innovative technologies for the food industry and agriculture, and the management of natural resources and environmental protection. All research and teaching activities are carried out with consideration for the principles of sustainable development.
