Innovation starts with an idea – don’t miss the “Innovative Farmer” competition
Tygodnik Poradnik Rolniczy together with Europejski Fundusz Rozwoju Wsi Polskiej are inviting submissions for the seventh edition of the “Innovative Farmer” competition.
Any farmer who believes they have implemented innovative solutions on their farm is eligible to apply. The competition includes three categories:
direct sale of agricultural products from the farm,
innovative family farm,
innovative agricultural enterprise.
We are accepting applications until 23 February! Attractive prizes await the winners and will be presented during the European Agricultural Forum in Jasionka, scheduled for 1–2 April.
Applications for the competition can be submitted via the form available on the website: https://lp.innowacyjnyrolnik.pl. In the form, please indicate the selected category and describe the innovative aspects of your farm, as well as illustrate them with photographs. Innovations may also be presented in the form of a video.
The aim of the competition is to promote owners of farms and agricultural enterprises who have implemented new solutions that increase the efficiency and profitability of agricultural production. What matters most is creativity – not necessarily the use of expensive, cutting-edge technologies. We also want to recognize farmers who have successfully developed effective methods of selling products directly from their farms.
Dear Readers, please remember that innovations introduced on farms do not have to involve costly investments. In many cases, a good idea alone proves to be more important and more effective.
Three equal prizes worth PLN 7,000 each are up for grabs, including a cash prize of PLN 5,000 and a voucher for the purchase of the company’s products.
PLN 2,400 for the purchase of products from Ekotronic.
The main partner of the competition is AGRO Ubezpieczenia, and the partner of the competition is Ekotronic.
