Institute of Plant Protection ‒ NRI conducts activities on the scientific basis as well as implementation and dissemination in the field of crop protection. Priority in the conducted research is to ensure an agricultural and food environment safety in conjunction with conversation of biodiversity. Research initiatives, carried out by the Institute, are primarily aimed at biology, harmfulness and methods of pest control, scientific basis of integrated plant protection, plant protection in organic farming, decision support systems to perform treatments, examination of residues and quality of plant protection products.
