Krajowy Ośrodek Wsparcia Rolnictwa, as the institution committed to the future of agriculture, plays a key role in the development of modern and competitive agriculture. It carries out approx. 70 various tasks. The KOWR mission is to implement ad apply the support instruments for active agricultural policy and rural development to the benefit of the Polish farmers and other agri-food sector operators.

We operate in such areas as: administering the agricultural properties of the State Treasury, promotion of agri-food products, including under the #Buy Consciously (#KupujŚwiadomie) campaign, supporting the initiatives for the renewable energy sources, organic farming, rural development initiatives or financial support for the farmers in financial difficulty. We manage programmes that support consumption and assist Polish farmers in exporting their products to foreign markets.
