University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów is the largest non-public university in the Podkarpacie region. The educational offer includes 18 fields and paths of study in Polish and English in the following Colleges: Medicine, Management, Applied Computer Science and Media and Social Communication. The university also offers a wide range of postgraduate studies and has the right to award the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science (dr hab.) in the following disciplines: Social Communication and Media Sciences; Medical Sciences; Economics and Finance. The university ranks high in university rankings (U-Multirank, GreenMetric), and innovative teaching methods and a program adapted to the needs of the labor market make students satisfied with it. On the map of the region and Poland, UITM also stands out for its international cooperation. About 6,000 people study at UITM, including 1,400 foreign students from over 50 countries around the world. For several years, UITM has been paying special attention to the issues of broadly understood sustainable development (in each of its pillars) and the transformation of the food production system.
